Lleld can Mindspeak people. This isn't reading minds, but it's creating a connection, and like tone of voice some information is carried about the speaker's state of being. If she has a good rapport with someone and Mindspeaks them enough, she can set it up so they can contact her and get her to open the connection.
Normal people can just send their mental voice. She can send images and sensations, like wrapping her hands in your long hair (don't have long hair? you'll feel like you do for a couple seconds) and pulling.
If you'd rather Mindspeech didn't work on your character, tell me! It'll require some time to get that rapport, and probably planning on plurk.
